Ng Huan Yong graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore in 2014. He was awarded the coveted Lucien Wong Prize in Corporate Finance Law.
Mr Ng was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2015. His areas of practice include civil & commercial litigation, matrimonial matters, criminal litigation, disciplinary cases, industrial accident claims, directors & shareholders’ disputes, and company law. Mr Ng also advises on commercial matters, contracts, employment, probate, and various other areas of law.
Mr Ng has handled a wide range of contentious matters at various forums, including the Court of Appeal, High Court, State Courts and Family Justice Courts. His notable matters include contentious matrimonial proceedings for high net worth expatriates and other individuals, litigating over children’s issues, cross-jurisdictional elements (such as the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction), and multi-million dollar matrimonial assets.
Mr Ng has served on the Council of the Law Society of Singapore from 2017. He has been the Council Representative and member of the Young Lawyers’ Committee since 2017, and an avid contributor to the Singapore Law Gazette on various legal professional issues.
